Each of my paintings in my series "From Another Mother" or "FAM" is made in honor of someone I respect and admire. During the time spent on each portrait, I reflect on their strength, inner beauty, and determination, as they live their lives authentically. This process brings me joy and the models find joy in being seen and valued.

I get so much from this process and have a long list of portraits I'd like to make of friends and of strangers who will become friends through this process. In order for me to continue this work, I am in need of funding for my supplies so that I may gift these portraits to those who cannot afford to purchase them.
